The Club MDW debuts and O’Hare earns another honor
The Club MDW, open to all passengers at Chicago Midway International Airport, offers amenities like snacks and beverages, free Wi-Fi, spacious lounge seating, and flight information screens. Meanwhile, Global Magazine named O’Hare the Best Airport in North America for the 20th consecutive year.

U.S. Travel’s IPW heads to Chicago in June
Chicago will welcome international travel buyers and journalists from more than 70 countries during U.S. Travel’s IPW event at McCormick Place, held June 14 – 18. With the theme “Bringing the World to America,” the premier travel trade show will showcase top exhibitors and destinations. The last time Chicago hosted the event was in 2014.

Two new hotel restaurants causing a stir are Toro by Chef Richard Sandoval at the Fairmont Chicago and PERILLA in the L7 Chicago by Lotte. The lively Toro features the celebrated chef’s signature contemporary Latin American cuisine, while modern PERILLA beautifully showcases Korean steakhouse dishes.

Chicago and Logan Square featured in Time Out best-of lists
Time Out recognized Chicago in two of its best-of lists. Chicago ranked No. 14 of “The 50 best cities in the world in 2024,” thanks in part to its vibrant nightlife and culture. While the city’s hip Logan Square came in at No. 34 of “The 38 coolest neighborhoods in the world.”
