Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours offers a new e-bike tour
The women-owned Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours has launched a new e-bike tour that takes riders through Chicago neighborhoods and past top attractions like Buckingham Fountain, the Field Museum, and Northerly Island. Be prepared to stop along the route for group photo ops and Chicago history storytelling.

New luxury bleacher experience unveiled at Wrigley Field
Watching a Chicago Cubs baseball game from the bleacher seats at Wrigley Field has become an all-inclusive luxury experience with The Yard, part of the Budweiser Bleachers. Groups ranging from four to 50 people can reserve one of five semi-private spaces overlooking center field. Guests are welcome to arrive 90 minutes before the first pitch to socialize while enjoying a bottomless cooler of drinks and a burger, hot dog, or veggie meal.

Norman’s Bistro on the Lake debuts this summer
Bronzeville’s popular Norman’s Bistro is opening a waterfront location called Norman’s Bistro on the Lake. The new Rainbow Beach outpost opens on May 26; perfectly timed with the South Shore’s summer beach season. Norman’s 4,800-square-foot lakefront deck will feature a bar and beach cabanas, with a menu that includes smoked ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Resort-style entertainment by bands and DJs is also planned.

Lookingglass Theatre Company reopens on the Mag Mile
The Tony Award-winning Lookingglass Theatre Company has debuted its newly revamped theatre on The Magnificent Mile. After more than a year of work, Lookingglass reopened to dazzle guests with a renovated lobby, bar, and cafe. Upcoming shows in the renamed Joan and Paul Theater include Iraq, But Funny from May 29 – July 20.

International flights added at O’Hare Airport
Flying into and out of Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport has gotten even easier for international travelers.
Cathay Pacific now offers daily service to Hong Kong.
Finnair began daily service to Helsinki, Finland, on March 6.
American Airlines is offering daily service to Madrid, Spain, through Oct. 24, and daily service to Naples, Italy, from May 6 – Oct. 24. Once-a-week service to Halifax, Canada, runs from June 21 – Oct. 4.
United Airlines flights to Edmonton, Canada, will be offered three times a week from May 24 – Oct. 25.
Japan Airlines will resume service between Chicago and Tokyo Narita on May 31.
WestJet will offer service to Edmonton, Canda, three times a week from June 4 – Oct. 22.
Turkish Airlines will increase flights to Istanbul, Turkey, from 14 a week to 17 beginning July 7.
