Held in four Chicago neighborhoods – Wrigleyville, Bridgeport, West Loop and Ravenswood – this open-air event produced by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild and Choose Chicago will showcase the city’s local breweries.
Chicago, IL – May 18, 2022 – Choose Chicago, together with the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild, is pleased to welcome back Chicago Friday Night Flights for its sixth season, which kicks off on Friday, May 27. Held during four unique tasting events in four distinct Chicago neighborhoods, each festival will include beer tastings from local breweries, a live DJ, and bites from local food vendors.
The popular summer craft beer tasting series highlights the best of Chicago’s craft beer scene. Each tasting pass is $25 in advance and $30 at the door for 10 three-ounce beer samples.
“Chicago may be known worldwide for pizza, but nothing goes better with pizza than beer, and Chicago’s craft beer scene is second to none,” said Lynn Osmond, President & CEO, Choose Chicago. “Chicago Friday Night Flights are the perfect opportunity to explore Chicago’s neighborhoods while enjoying a variety of award-winning beers.”
‘Since its launch in 2017, Chicago Friday Night Flights has become a summer staple for Chicago’s craft beer enthusiasts and brewers alike,” said Ray Stout, executive director for the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild. “Our breweries are woven into the fabric of the neighborhoods they call home, and these festivals are an important way to celebrate that community connection while driving support for these small businesses.”
