Of the 455 suites here, 12 are fully ADA-compliant, with wide doorways, strobe alarms, and spacious bathrooms. The Embassy Suites features 6,200 square feet of meeting space. The art deco reimagination of a former office building adds to the allure of The Robey Chicago. Modern conveniences make this historic landmark an ultra-accessible and comfortable place to stay in the Wicker Park/Bucktown neighborhood. Meetings with assistive listening devices can be arranged in several spaces, including The Robey Hall, a former warehouse. All public areas, including the swimming pool, are fully accessible. Accessible guest rooms feature wide doorways, closed captioning on TVs, and Braille signage.
Fourteen rooms at the Park Hyatt Chicago are fully accessible, with oversized living spaces, roll-in rain showers, lowered sinks and closet hanging space, amplified phones, and other touches to enhance a guest’s stay. The luxury hotel along The Magnificent Mile features labels in Braille, an accessible fitness center, butler service, and 5,000 square feet of accessible meeting spaces, from a boardroom to a ballroom. The 40th-floor rooftop swimming pool — featuring amazing views of the city and Lake Michigan — is accessible at the Hampton Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile. Wheelchair-accessible and pet-friendly rooms with accessible tubs are offered, while others are designed especially for deaf guests and feature visual alarms and doorbell notifications. Room numbers are in Braille. The Hampton Inn’s 3,700 square feet of meeting and event space can be divided into room setups configured as theatre, banquet, or classroom style.
Omni Chicago Hotel, an all-suites hotel located on Michigan Avenue, offers luxury amenities and convenient access to nearby shopping and top attractions. Accessible room features include smooth flooring, ample turning space, a roll-in shower or tub, easy-to-reach outlets, and alarms with visual notifications. Service animals are always welcome. Eight meeting spaces can accommodate capacities of 25 to 245 people in classroom, banquet, theatre, or reception setups.
With sweeping views of Grant Park, Lake Michigan, and the Museum Campus, suites and rooms at the Hilton Chicago feature many accessible amenities. Guests will discover roll-in showers, closed captioning on TVs, visual alarms in rooms and public areas, Braille signage, and an accessible swimming pool and fitness center. With 234,000 square feet of meeting and event space, planners will find an area to meet their needs, whether it be private dining for six, banquets for 900, or a reception for up to 1,350.
Attendees can explore nearby attractions such as the Shedd Aquarium and Navy Pier during their stay at the sophisticated Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile. Accessible features include a swimming pool, spacious rooms for guests with mobility or hearing needs, roll-in showers or tubs, and on-site parking. Special requests can be made. Six event spaces totaling 3,600 square feet are available — the largest room can accommodate a gathering of up to 280 people.
McCormick Place accessibility
When planning events at McCormick Place, be assured that the largest convention center in North America is flush with accessibility features throughout its 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space. All meeting rooms, shops, restaurants, and restrooms were designed to accommodate wheelchairs. Also, wheelchairs, scooters, power chairs, and oxygen equipment are available to rent. TTY phone access is provided, and assisted listening transmitters and receivers are available to use at no charge. Trained service animals are welcome at McCormick Place.

Attendees can easily get to and from McCormick Place by staying at accessible hotels close to the convention center. They include Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and Marriott Marquis Chicago.
