Tours With Mike

Tours With Mike makes architecture, design, and history fun and interesting through special in-person and virtual experiences, including Ugly Buildings, LGBTQ Stories, Black History & Culture, Music History, & Underground Chicago (Plus Rats!). Here are some accomplishments since Tours With Mike launched in 2021:

– Runner-up for the Chicago Reader’s Best Tour awards multiple times,
– Among the top 10% of TripAdvisor’s ranked activities globally,
– Called “a tour guide’s tour guide” by WTTW’s Geoffrey Baer, and
– Dubbed by the Chicago Tribune “the local architecture tour that needed to happen.”

Prior to this endeavor, Mike was a volunteer docent with the Chicago Architecture Center for 15 years creating and leading some of that organization’s most popular tours.
