The Pui Tak Center was originally the On Leong Merchants Association Building, called “Chinatown’s City Hall.” The colorful building was designed in 1928 in the “Orientalism” style by architects Michaelsen and Rognstad. It is known for its exquisite, locally made Teco terra cotta detailing and pagoda-style roof
