Nuclear Energy

This 1967 bronze sculpture by Henry Moore commemorates the moment on December 2, 1942, when Enrico Fermi and his colleagues created the first self-sustained nuclear reaction under the old Stagg Field. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Place.
