Lapidary is the art of cutting & polishing stone. People of all ages enjoy this exceptional Museum dedicated to sharing with others the beauty of gemstones and providing an environment for all people to learn about rocks, minerals and lapidary art. Displays include a large collection of Chinese jade and other hard-stone carvings from around the world, animal dioramas, mineral specimens, gemstones and geological exhibits.

The Museum Shop offers a variety of gem jewelry, rocks, minerals, fossils and educational items for sale. The Museum is available for evening rentals. Parking is free for buses and cars. The Museum is entirely on one level with access and facilities for physically disabled visitors. Admission is $10 for Adults, $8 for Seniors, $5 for Students. Visit for free every Wednesday. Active Duty Military and Children under 6 are always free.
