Ina Mae Tavern is what happens when the Big Easy meets the Windy City. Ina Mae Tavern, named after Chef Brian Jupiter’s great-grandmother, was inspired by the charming Mom & Pop joints, dive bars and corner stores of his hometown, New Orleans. Owners Mark Domitrovich and Chef Jupiter are 2025 James Beard Semifinalists for Outstanding Restaurateur. Ina Mae Tavern is a four time recipient of Bib Gourmand – a recognition from the Michelin Guide. Diners can expect a variety of southern tastes from the 2025 menu including: Po’Boy sandwiches, Hot Plates – including crowd favorite, the Catfish Filet, Char-Grilled Oysters, Deviled Eggs, Hushpuppies, and of course Beignets. Ina Mae Tavern can accommodate groups of 10 – 120. The event space is set up for music & entertainment, musicians generally perform on the “Front Porch Stage,” — a second floor stage overlooking the first floor. Also, The Beachwood Inn is an Airbnb located on the second floor of Ina Mae Tavern — the space is perfect for travelers who want to immerse themselves in a true local experience. The space accommodates 6 guests.
