The A. Philip Randolph Pullman Porter Museum is an African-American Labor History Museum, the only one of its kind in the nation. Located in the Pullman National Monument district, Chicago’s first National Park.

The museum’s permanent collection pays tribute to and displays exhibits pertinent to the study of American Labor History with a specific focus on the African- American contribution and includes but is not limited to: the Pullman Company, as it relates to the African American Railroad employee, Black labor history, A. Philip Randolph, The Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, (Pullman Porters), the Great Migration, and the American Civil Rights Movement.

Book a tour today for Chicago’s Great Migration Trail and explore the destinations lived and experienced by more than a half million people who moved to the black metropolis, Chicago’s legendary city within a city, Bronzeville. This half-day tour is an authentic story for all generations. Guests experience the hospitality in the proud tradition of Pullman Porters known as the ambassadors of service.

The museum is recognized locally as a historic site and is a unique addition to the tourism sites of the Pullman community. The Museum is recognized nationally as a valuable and unique institution in the museum community.
