Thursday Night Out

This summer, the weekend begins on Thursday in Downtown Oak Park. Thursday Night Out will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 6 through August 29 on Marion Street between Lake Street and North Boulevard. The event features al fresco dining with the purchase of dine-around booklets, four tickets for $25, live music, and themed nights.

“Thursday Night Out is an Oak Park tradition that just gets better every year!” said Shanon Williams, Executive Director of the Downtown Oak Park Business Alliance. “We have planned a summer filled with delicious food from over 20 local restaurants, and the music lineup has something for everyone from Rock, Soul, R&B, Reggae, Jazz, Country, Latin, Celtic, and so much more!”

The Thursday Night Out Menu features French, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, and more – all from 25 restaurants in Downtown Oak Park. The Thursday Night Out Live Music Lineup includes Rock, Soul, R&B, Reggae, Jazz, Country, Latin, Celtic, and more.

There will be theme nights, including:

Kids Night (June 13) – Features school-aged musicians and activities from local family-focused organizations like Collaboration for Early Childhood.
Pride Night (June 20) – Second annual Pride Night, in partnership with the OPRF Chamber of Commerce. This event includes a fair featuring local organizations providing service for the LGBTQIA+ community and drag queens handing out swag in collaboration with local businesses.
Art Night (July 18) -Highlighting a pop-up market highlighting local artists.
Health and Wellness Night( August 15) – Self-care fair, including local businesses and organizations that provide health, wellness, and beauty services.
