The Moth Mainstage – Who Do You Think You Are?

The Auditorium and WBEZ present the Moth Mainstage: Who Do You Think You Are? on Friday, December 13.

The holidays bring about a certain kind of feeling. One of hope, joy, and sometimes, longing and confusion. Central characters are thrust into a world of uncertainty, suddenly forced to deal with the truths around them. We’ve seen this trope play out in countless works of art from the long inward journey in The Grinch Who Stole Christmas to George Bailey’s moment of self-discovery.

Join The Moth for stories of provenance. Nagging truths, startling discoveries, and hard-fought wisdom. The daunting task of discovering who you’ve always been or transforming into who you’re meant to be.

About Mainstage:

Not to be confused with StorySlam or GrandSlam events, The Mainstage is the quintessential Moth experience: A two-act show featuring a musical act, where the storytellers and a notable host share true personal stories, without notes. As an audience member, you’ll get to experience live, unedited tapings for future episodes of The Moth Podcast and Moth Radio Hour.

The Moth Mainstage features simple, old-fashioned storytelling by five wildly divergent raconteurs who develop and shape their stories with the Moth’s artistic team. Trust us: This event is not to be missed.
