June 12: The Redmonds
Comprised of a stellar line-up of Chicagoland’s top talent, The Redmonds perform eclectic sets of classic rock, Americana, and originals.
TUESDAY* June 18: The Bear Williams Trio
Bear Williams aka (Larry Kimpel) 2023 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award Winner is a Chicago-Based Blues/Folk Artist who records and tours internationally.
*Dominican University will be closed on Wednesday, June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
June 26: The Jonas Friddle Band
Singer, songwriter and Old-Time banjo player, Friddle’s songs have received The John Lennon Songwriting Award, First Place in the Great American Song Contest and a nomination for Album of the Year in the Independent Music Awards.
July 3: The Donna Herula Band
Blues singer, songwriter, resonator slide guitarist, Herula is a Chicago Blues Hall of Fame inductee. She won “Best Traditional Blues Artist” and her album, “Bang at the Door” won “Best Acoustic Blues Album” at the 2022 Independent Blues Awards.
July 10: The Island of Misfit Toys
The Island of Misfit Toys play a diverse set of music from the 70’s, 80’s and beyond.
July 17: Mark Dvorak, a celebration of Woody Guthrie’s birthday
A special community event in support of Beyond Hunger with a food and toiletries drive.
The second half of the concert will include a “community jam” (local musicians are invited to bring their instruments and play along.)
July 24: The Afro-Caribbean Jazz Collective
A multicultural band that pays homage to the roots of Afro-Caribbean music while embracing the contemporary flair of jazz and world music.
July 31: Cheap Talking Wine
A good time acoustic trio offering their unique take on a number of musical influences.
August 7: Dennis Stroughmatt et L’Esprit Creole
A vibrant blend of Celtic, Canadian and Old Time sounds, this music bridges the gap between contemporary Canadian and Louisiana Cajun styles.
August 14: Los Gallos
Chicago’s premier Chicano / Americana Roots band. Drawing upon traditional Latin sounds and American vibes, Los Gallos seamlessly fuse an eclectic mix of Cumbia, Norteño, Tex-Mex and Bolero with Country, Rock and Blues to create their innovative signature sound.
