St Patrick’s Day Irish Village Market
We are excited to announce a great addition to the Dyeing of the River and the Chicago St Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday March 15th.
An Irish Village Market will take place on Michigan Avenue. This will be a free-to-attend, family oriented event with all net proceeds donated to Gaelic Park Charities.
The Irish Village Market will provide an opportunity for the public to enjoy live Irish music and dance and to savor the tastes of some authentic Irish food and beverage. The market will showcase the best of Ireland on this global day of Irish cultural celebration and to that end, is very kindly supported by headline sponsors, Kerrygold USA.
There’s a fantastic lineup of entertainment throughout the day including performances from the Dirty Wellies and the Trinity Irish Dance Academy.
The market will take place on the east side of the Chicago River (on the plaza at 401 N. Michigan), the perfect location to experience the dyeing of the river, where over 100,000 pedestrians pass through on the day of St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
