Sound of Silent Film Festival 20th Anniversary

Access Contemporary Music’s popular Sound of Silent Film Festival, now in its 20th year, is a unique event featuring new short silent films in every conceivable genre screened with newly-composed musical scores performed live.

The event happens at the historic Music Box Theatre in Lakeview.  10 films were chosen out of more than 100 submissions. This year’s program includes three comedies, a dark comedy, two dramas, a heart-warmer, a faux horror, and two gorgeously animated films.

All films will be screened in silence with new scores performed live.
