Rigoletto Opera Insight Discussion

Lyric Opera of Chicago invites you to a FREE and thought-provoking panel discussion on Rigoletto, the classic opera on Lyric’s stage this season. Offering a critical modern-day perspective on domestic and sexual abuse, Dr. Antonio Cuyler, Lyric’s Scholar in Residence, will moderate the discussion of panelists who are prominent voices from local domestic abuse advocacy organization, Sarah’s Inn, and nationally renowned Chicago-based arts organization, A Long Walk Home, whose goal is to end violence against girls and women. This event is free to the public with a reservation. Doors open for seating at 6:30 p.m. and the event begins at 7:00 p.m., this Tuesday, September 10, 2024 in Oak Park Public Library – Main Branch (834 Lake St., Oak Park, IL 60301).
