“Pehchaan” – a South Asian Contemporary Dance Production
Pehchaan explores the unique identities we experience as South Asians of the diaspora. We dream of what a world that embraces us wholly could look like while articulating the realities of our lived experiences. We share stories of migration and displacement, the invisible work of women, the beauty and resilience of queer love and more. Directed by Amit Patel & Ishika Seth and featuring dancers from Ishami Dance Company. Pehchaan also features live music by Grammy nominated artist Annette Philip (Zahara).
