Marriott Theatre Presents: The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System

Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences kicks off its remarkable children’s theatre season, part of Marriott Theatre’s 50th anniversary, with the musical adaptation of one of the most beloved children’s books of all time, THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: LOST IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM, running February 21 through March 29, 2025, located at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. This one-hour musical journey is directed and choreographed by Associate Artistic Director Katie Johannigman, with musical direction by Ellie Kahn. Each performance will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the cast. 

When the class gets lost en route to the planetarium, Ms. Frizzle saves the day by blasting into outer space for an epic interplanetary field trip. Amidst the excitement, old and new rivalries emerge, challenging the students to unite or face being lost in the solar system forever. Fans of all generations are invited to THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: LOST IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM for this new musical adaptation inspired by the original Scholastic book series beloved by so many.   

THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: LOST IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM plays most Wednesdays through Sundays at 10 am with select 12:30 pm performances, with a special spring break schedule. An ASL-interpreted performance will take place on March 22nd at 10 am. Call for substantial group discounts on over 20 tickets. Free parking is available at all performances.
