Lunar New Year Calligraphy and Paper Cutting


Join us for a mesmerizing Calligraphy & Paper Cutting Workshop in the Maker Lab at Harold Washington Library! Immerse yourself in the beauty of traditional Chinese arts just in time for Lantern Festival. Led by expert artists from the Chinese Fine Arts Society, this hands-on workshop will introduce you to the elegance of brush calligraphy and the intricate craft of paper cutting. Whether you’re a beginner or an art enthusiast, this is your chance to explore two timeless art forms in a fun and welcoming setting.

Registration information:
This event is first-come/ first-served. Please check in at the Maker Lab beginning at 5:15pm to receive a reservation for a 25-minute workshop. The Maker Lab can accommodate up to 10 participants at a time. Registration will end at 6:30pm.
