Leevons Matthew September Artist Residency at the Pendry Chicago Hotel
Pendry Chicago is opening its Michigan Avenue-facing Billiards Gallery for an artist residency with artist Leevon Matthews from September 6th-8th. Embracing paint as a sculptural object, Matthews plays with its multi-dimensional features plus lots of color & shapes to represent the performance that is art. In September, he’ll display his piece titled “Motion Sickness”, a representation of the dissonance of the everyday lives of human beings. Meet and watch Matthews work from 11 am – 6 pm on Friday and Saturday. Come back Sunday between 11 am and 2 pm for the gallery showcase and artist’s talk, with passed Champagne. This event is free and open to the public.
