Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Season 47 Spring Series
Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC) closes out its thrilling 47th season with Spring Series, a dynamic program featuring a World Premiere by Matthew Rushing, Interim Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. The program also includes Sweet Gwen Suite, a dazzling tribute to Broadway and Hollywood icons Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon, hailed as a “knockout performance” by Chicago Reader. Rounding out the evening is the highly anticipated company premiere of Blue Soup, a choreographic masterpiece by HSDC Resident Artist Aszure Barton.
Don’t miss this electrifying celebration of dance, running May 16–18 at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance (205 E. Randolph). Tickets for the Spring Series are available now, ranging from $20 to $110, at hubbardstreetdance.com.
Additionally, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago’s annual fundraising gala, Spotlight Ball, returns on Thursday, May 15, featuring a one-night-only performance, followed by dinner and a rooftop celebration at the Harris Theater. Nicole Fosse will receive the Spotlight Award. Tickets and tables are available at hubbardstreetdance.com/spotlightball.
