Hubard Street Dance Chicago Season 47: Fall Series

Hubard Street Dance Company (HSDC) is kicking off Season 47: Fall Series with a historic partnership with The Verdon Fosse® Legacy, making HSDC the only company in the world authorized to add Bob Fosse® work to its repertoire. An internationally recognized figure in the performing arts, Fosse’s legacy speaks for itself –– and now the HSDC company will bring it to life for all of Chicago to see. A breathtaking blend of timeless Fosse choreography and contemporary HSDC flair will take the stage this November for the first time at Chicago’s landmark Steppenwolf Theater. 

The Fall Series will also feature the tour de force solo piece Show Pony by Kyle Abraham and the intimate Prelude to a Kiss by Lar Lubovitch. Two pieces by Resident Artist Aszure Barton, now in her second year of residency with HSDC, will round out the program; the contemplative return to patience and the breathtaking hit BUSK.
