Carminho: World-Renowned Portuguese Fado Singer

Carminho, the Portuguese fado singer and 2023 Latin Grammy nominee who was featured in Yorgos Lanthimos’s Oscar-winning film “Poor Things,” will perform at City Winery Chicago, presented by the International Latino Cultural Center, to kick-off her US Tour.  

Following her recently released EP “Carminho at Electrical Audio,” produced by Steve Albini, Carminho will perform her new grunge-infused tracks alongside her traditional Portuguese fado hits. Known as one of the most influential singers of this genre, Carminho is recognized for her remarkable voice, talent, songwriting and unwavering artistic dedication, transporting audiences to an evening in Lisbon.
