Breen Rynne Murray

Welcome Breen Rynne Murray to the Irish American Heritage Center on April 3

This trio first visited the Center as part of a successful showcase during the 2024 AICF conference at the Irish American Heritage Center. We loved their performance, from the gentle to the rhythmical and all the in-betweens.

Tara Breen has numerous All-Ireland titles on the fiddle and tours regularly with The Chieftains, Stockton’s wing, and as a solo performer. Pádraig Rynne is considered a leading Irish music figure and a founding member of well-known bands such as NOTIFY and Guidewires. Jim Murray has been one of the most sought-after and busiest musicians of his generation over the past two decades, recording and touring with some of the best-known folk musicians in the world.

Their 2021 release, “Nas,” is regarded as one of the finest albums in recent years from an Irish Traditional outfit. It also won the Best Traditional Album Award in the 2022 American Celtic listener-supported radio awards.

Described as “one of the freshest sounds in Irish music,” this show presents another opportunity for IAHC audiences to discover a bright new band!

Tickets are $20.
