80 Minutes Around the World
What does the American Dream mean to you? What does it mean to belong?
Join us for this free storytelling show featuring the stories of six immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, their descendants, and allies as we reflect on the “American Dream.” Hosted by Moth award-winning storyteller Nestor Gomez, 80 Minutes Around the World features stories by Kory May, Archy Jamjun, Maritza, and Alina Serban. RSVP is recommended, and refreshments will be served.
Originally created and produced by Nestor “the Boss” Gomez, 80 Minutes Around the World premiered in 2017 in Chicago and can now be seen in Los Angeles (hosted by M.J. Kang) and New York (hosted by Angel Ling), and heard on the podcast, Immigration Stories.
