Gallagher Way is the open-air green space directly adjacent to Wrigley Field. Located on the west side of the historic stadium, the space is open to ticket holders on game day and the general public during community events — making it a popular gathering space in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. Just across the street, you’ll find various restaurants, sports bars, and the Hotel Zachary.

If you’re headed to a Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field, make sure to check out Gallagher Way. The space is open to ticket holders from one hour before the gates open after to one hour after the game ends. Throughout the game, guests can enjoy a live broadcast of the game on the giant video board, live music, food and drink options, visits from Clark the Cub, and more. It’s the perfect space to stretch out on the grass or let the kids burn off some steam.

Getting to Gallagher Way

Gallagher Way is located in the Wrigleyville neighborhood. The CTA Red Line provides service to Gallagher Way via a station at Addison. Visitors traveling during gamedays from the northwest and west suburbs can take Pace’s Wrigley Field Express Route nonstop from Pace’s Northwest Transportation Center in Schaumburg and Yorktown Center in Lombard. Divvy Bike stations are available on the corner of Sheffield Ave. and Addison St., and W. Grace and N. Clark St.
